            Jonas lived in a community where it is a utopia. He had something different about him that other people don’t have. Despite that, he was still an ordinary person in their world. When he turned 12 he got a job that was the most cherished job in the community.

                  Was Jonas in a perfect world or not? I think he’s not in a perfect world because although they didn’t know what feelings were. The message of the story was that we cant be in a perfect world because we aren’t perfect. One part of the story that I really liked was that they used such divers words that we don’t use in our every day lives. One of the part of the book that was unbelievable was that the Givers can transmit memories to other people. I would rate this book a five out of five because it was an interesting story about a child that thinks their community is not perfect. This book is for kid around my age because it was a story with a lot of parts that is just going to get you right on the edge of your chair.
